Katee Sackhoff Spills Details On Battlestar Season 3

When last we saw the crew of the Battlestar Galactica, they were mired on an inhospitable planet being enslaved by Cylons. How can things get any worse? Starbuck gets a buzz cut.

The stunning Katee Sackhoff, who plays Lt. Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, spoke with Zap2It and other reporters from the set of the fanatically followed Sci-Fi show "Battlestar Galactica" about what we can expect from the show's next and upcoming season.

In the final, cliffhanger episode of BSG Season 1, she was sporting a new, longer do. Well forget about that. Say adios. She says it's getting hacked off, it'll be short; shorter than it's ever been before, probably to better suit her new guerilla warrior role on a planet occupied by Cylon oppressors. At least that's our best geuss. We're talking buzz cut here folks.

But enough with the fluff. Where's her character headed? Sackhoff says towards men. "There is another man that comes into her life, and it is a very unlikely man, and that everyone is going to be so livid over," she reveals. What does that mean for her new husband, the fluish Samuel T. Anders? Will he get taken out by pneumonia, cylons, or maybe frakked by Tigh's crazy wife? Sackhoff isn't saying.

"Battlestar Galactica's" third season just started filming April 10th, and since the second season ended weeks ago, we "BSG" fans have a mighty long wait till the premiere of season three airs. Katee is also working on White Noise 2, her first significant, starring theatrical role.
