While Jay Leno’s talk show may be going on hiatus as NBC makes room in their primetime lineup to air the winter Olympics, it seems that Leno may be making his grand return post-Olympics by reclaiming his old time slot.
According to TMZ, The Jay Leno Show will go on hiatus February 1st and when the series returns after the Olympics wrap up, Jay will return to his old 11:30 p.m. time slot. So what does this mean for The Tonight Show? That’s currently undecided. Apparently, either Jay’s talk show will run for a half an hour, after which The Tonight Show will air with Conan O’Brien continuing to host, or Jay’s show will be an hour and O’Brien’s out. TMZ went on to say that both Leno and O’Brien have been told of the changes. To those of you who stay up late to watch Leno and/or O’Brien make with the funny and interview celebs, is this good news? Or do you prefer Leno in his new spot at 10 and O’Brien as The Tonight Show host? |
