MTV To Air The First Real World Awards Show In March

Can you believe The Real World is going on it’s 20th season? Seriously - I feel old. I remember when the first season premiered. As I was just a kid at the time, the series was my first real glimpse into the crazy world of semi-adulthood. After making it through adolescence, I came to realize that The Real World was really more of a dramatized reality-TV version of what real post-high-school adult life is like.

Prior to kicking off the series 20th season, MTV will air the first ever, Real World Awards Bash: Roast ‘Em and Toast ‘Em. The awards show, which is set to air on MTV on Saturday, March 29th, will include awards being presented to various roommates from the last sixteen years worth of seasons. In addition to the roommates from the previous seasons, the cast of the 20th season, Real World: Hollywood will also be present at the event.

Categories for the awards show include Hottest Male, Hottest Female, Best Fight, Biggest Playa and Roommate From Hell. Viewers can vote for their favorites on MTV’s website, here. Viewers can vote as many times as they want for all thirteen categories. The polls will be open on MTV’s site until February 29th.
