Matthew Perry To Appear On The Good Wife, Beginning In March
Episodes of The Good Wife have been crazy for the past couple of weeks. Alright, I suppose by crazy, I simply mean a little more raucous than normal. It is just that The Good Wife is CBS’ version of NBC’s Parenthood with lawyers - episodes are created with the intent to stress viewers out. Soon, the popular CBS drama plans to add a new name to the mix in order to shake things up at the Lockhart & Gardner law firm a little more.
Matthew Perry is set to join the cast in an arch that will span multiple episodes. According to USA Today, the Friends and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip actor will play Mike, a lawyer from Chicago whose role will be to lead a “blue-ribbon panel” put together after a police officer shoots a criminal, causing his actions to be questioned by his superiors and others.
Perry’s Mike is supposedly one charming dude, which may lead you to wonder when this whole overt drama drama that I spoke of earlier is going to come in. Supposedly, our hero Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is also on the panel with Mike when she begins to suspect him of insincere intentions. So, there will be a suspicious police shooting and then a suspicious follow-up panel. The whole thing certainly sounds promising for a multi-episode arch. You can check out Perry on The Good Wife beginning on March 25, but if you are ready to get down with the drama this weekend, you can catch the show on CBS on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
