It’s been announced that Monica Potter has been cast as the co-star to the new NBC hourlong pilot Parenthood. She’s set to play the role of the wife of Peter Krauss’ character.

The Hollywood Reporter posted the news, stating that Potter is replacing the originally cast Diane Farr in the role. Farr was set to take on the role, however scheduling conflicts with her recurring role on Showtime’s Californiacation caused her to back out.

Potter’s big screen roles include a part in Con Air and Along Came A Spider. Among her TV roles, she was in the first season of Boston Legal and more recently starred in TNT’s Trust Me. As Trust Me is kaput, it’s nice to know that Potter managed to land a new gig.
