More Reasons To Look Forward To 24 Redemption And Season 7 If you’re anything like me then you’re eagerly awaiting the special 24 TV movie Redemption to air later this month and just as excited for the seventh season to premiere this coming January. We’ve got some news about the new season as well as a nice little collection of Redemption videos to check out!

First, the news. Similar to season six, Fox is going to premiere four hours of the seventh season of 24 in the first week of the new season. Fox announced that they’re going to premiere 24 in a two-night event, with the first two hours airing on Sunday, January 11th and the next two hours airing Monday, January 12th (both from 8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT).

Here’s the description Fox listed for the new season:

“Set in Washington, D.C., “Day Seven” opens with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER (Kiefer Sutherland) on trial. Bauer’s day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA (Carlos Bernard) returns after being presumed dead. Meanwhile, President ALLISON TAYLOR (Cherry Jones) leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN (Bob Gunton) and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR (Colm Feore). An unthinkable national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including Agent JANIS GOLD (Janeane Garofalo), Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching), Agent LARRY MOSS (Jeffrey Nordling), Agent SEAN HILLINGER (Rhys Coiro) and security specialist MICHAEL LATHAM (John Billingsley). Although CTU no longer exists, CHLOE O’BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and BILL BUCHANAN (James Morrison) are back for another momentous day of shocking events.”

Bring it!

24: Redemption will air on Sunday, November 23rd (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT). In this TV movie, Jack Bauer is working at a school in Africa. He inevitably ends up attempting to stop a ruthless warlord from his pursuits in kidnapping children and forcing them to join his murderous militia. Back in the U.S., it’s inauguration day for the President-elect and Jon Voight’s character Jonas Hodges is scheming to make things worse for the growing international crisis.
