NBC recently released the specifics on their new fall series. Among the shows set to debut this fall is Prime Suspect, a drama starring Maria Bello and Aidan Quinn. The series is based on a popular British show by the same name. Details and a preview video ahead!
NBC currently has Prime Suspect set up to follow their two-hour comedy block on Thursday nights. Prime Suspect follows a female detective working in New York and trying to establish herself in a predominantly male environment. You’ll get a better idea of what Bello’s character Jane Timoney is up against in the video below NBC’s synopsis: Based on the critically acclaimed British television series of the same name, Prime Suspect has been redeveloped for American audiences by writer Alexandra Cunningham (Desperate Housewives, NYPD Blue), director Peter Berg (NBC's Friday Night Lights) -- and stars Maria Bello (A History of Violence) as tough-as-nails Detective Jane Timoney. Prime Suspect will begin airing Thursdays at 10/9c on NBC this Fall 2011. Follow Prime Suspect on Twitter. CLICK HERE to view NBC’s Fall 2011 Primetime Schedule. Back to top
