Remember the good old days when ‘Seinfeld’ and ‘Friends’ rocked the house every Thursday night? Those days may be back again but fresh new faces.

TV.com reports that NBC is shaking up their Thursday night line-up starting November 30 to make way for some heavy comedy hitters. ‘My Name is Earl’ and ‘The Office’ will stay in their respective time slots of 8 and 8:30 PM. But that’s where the same old same old ends. Dubbed its “super-sized” strategy, NBC is expanding both episodes to 40 minutes in length each starting November 16th.

But it gets better. ‘Scrubs’ will return with more hospital hilarity in its sixth season at 9 PM on Thursdays. Said Kevin Reilly, president of NBC Entertainment, “We’re excited about the prospect of two hours of top-notch comedy on Thursday nights, which includes the return of ‘Scrubs.’”

But wait, there’s even more. ‘30 Rock’ is moving from its Wednesday slot to 9:30 PM following ‘Scrubs.’ ‘Rock’ suffered a lackluster opening on Hump Day in the wake of the explosive ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on ABC, but is expected to pick up eyeballs in its new time.

Poor old Wednesday night will be left with NBC specials starting November 8 until the Peacock Network decides what it wants to schedule there. Said Reilly, “We will stay on-brand with the best comedy block on television.” With such a killer line-up, Reilly looks to be right on point.
