New Clips From Stargate Universe

The franchise that just won’t quit, Stargate serves up yet another spin-off tomorrow night. Stargate Universe premieres Friday, October 2nd at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SyFy. The cast includes Robert Carlyle, Lou Diamond Phillips, Ming-Na, and others as a group thrown together aboard an abandoned starship billions of light years from Earth. They have to work together to try and find a way back home.

Never having hopped aboard the Stargate bandwagon beyond the original film, I have no idea how tightly connected this new show will be to the previous spin-offs, but it might be a good chance for curious souls such as myself to give the Stargate universe another look. Goodness knows I’m a sucker for a good startship-based show, and that area of my diet has been sorely lacking of late.
