Just because Rosie O’Donnell is done with The View doesn’t mean she’s run out of things to say. The ever-opinionated actress/comedian (remember when she used to act and do standup?) could be getting herself a new talk show on MSNBC.

The New York Times reported that Rosie is in serious talks with MSNBC to set up her own show on the news network. While nothing is set in stone as they’re still working out the details, there’s a good chance her show could air on weeknights at 9:00 pm against CNN’s Larry King Live and Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes.

Along with working out the scheduling details, there’s also the issue of Rosie’s salary. According to The L.A. Times, prior to her departure from The View, O’Donnell was reportedly asking for $10 million from ABC for another year on the show. Chances are, she won’t be seeing that kind of check if she accepts a deal with MSNBC.

Whether you absolutely adore O’Donnell or despise her with a fiery passion (there doesn’t seem to be a gray area when it comes to people’s opinions on Rosie), you have to admit, she has a way of getting people’s attention. Sure, her loud opinionated attitude is most of the reason why her stint on The View didn’t last long but at least she gave people a reason to tune in.
