Osmond Collapses During Dancing With The Stars

Anything can happen on live TV. This includes one of the dancing celebrities passing out post-performance just as the judges are critiquing them on their samba routine. Such was the case for Marie Osmond last night when she slipped from the embrace of her dance partner and crumbled to the stage floor unconscious.

Osmond seemed out of breath but still full of energy after her performance. Just as one of the judges, Len Goodman, was giving her some constructive criticism about her dancing, she dropped to the floor. The camera zoomed back and we saw a hushed crowd watching Osmond lay unmoving on the stage before the show went to commercial.

When the commercial break ended, host Tom announced that Osmond was ok and that when she woke up and found herself lying on the floor with all of them looking down at her, she said “Oh crap.” They cut to Osmond waiting backstage for her scores and looking a little bit embarrassed but in good spirits nonetheless.



Hopefully Marie isn’t too embarrassed over the episode. It’s live TV and it definitely could have been worse. At least she didn’t vomit like that Swedish game show host.
