MTV’s Paris Hilton’s My New BFF is ending. Nooo!!! Yes, I’m actually sad to see the series draw to a close as it quickly became one of my biggest TV guilty pleasures. Watching a group of girls desperately try to win the celebutante’s favor was much more entertaining than I would have expected. The season finale and reunion special are both set to air on Tuesday night.
The competition has come down to the moony-eyed Vanessa and the laid back aspiring rock star, Brittany. During the finale, Paris will take both girls to New York City where she’ll show them the town and spend some one-on-one time with them before returning to L.A. to make her decision.
Personally, my money’s on Brittany. It seems like Paris has been favoring her since pretty early on in the season. Sure, some of the other girls have called Brittany out for her aspirations to get her music career going and that maybe taking priority over her friendship with Paris but can you really fault the girl for having a goal? Yes, I realize that even pondering this shows that I’ve been giving this show way too much thought.
I’ll probably forget all about the series within five minutes of the end of the finale but I’m really going to miss Joel McHale’s take on it each week on The Soup:
Paris Hilton’s My New BFF’s season finale airs on MTV on Tuesday, December 2nd at 9:00 PM. The reunion special, will air immediately afterwards (10:00 PM).
