Paris Hilton To Cameo In Tomorrow's Supernatural

Look, I’m right in the front lines of the Supernatural cheerleading squad. I’m on record as stating that it’s one of the only shows airing that continues to get better each and every season. For five seasons, creator Eric Kripke has spun the tales of the Brothers Winchester and their ongoing battle against the forces of darkness. This year the stakes are higher than ever as they find themselves caught between unscrupulous angels and Lucifer himself. But tomorrow night, Sam and Dean are squaring off against an evil more insidious than anything they’ve faced before: a cameo by Paris Hilton. And I have to say, even my inner cheerleader can’t help but ask, “Really?”

I realize tossing in a random celebrity cameo can kick the ratings up a notch. It’s just one of the realities of TV. But come on, Supernatural…Paris Hilton? I think we all know you’re better than that. For the time being I’m going to give Kripke and company the benefit of the doubt and hope that Hilton’s cameo as herself will be subjected to the show’s trademark pitch-black wit. Who knows, maybe it’ll be brilliant. I’m not even going to mention sharks or the jumping thereof.
