The good news with pilot casting tonight is that it may mean an end to Kath and Kim. At least I hope so. As long as Parks & Recreation delivers on its potential we should have a decent Thursday night comedy lineup once again. But on to the casting news du jour. T.J. Miller and Nick Thune have been cast as the leads in CBS’ comedy Waiting to Die. The buddy comedy follows two guys who are oblivious to the world around them, and that’s OK because they are just fine with how things are in their lives. Leslie Bibb and John Michael Higgins are joining the untitled Justin Adler comedy. With Higgins on board this pilot the future of Kath and Kim looks bleak. Finally Ryan Stiles will appear with Anita Renfroe in some untitled thing she’s presenting to ABC about a couple raising their kids. A completely original idea from that brief synopsis…
