Tonight ABC was scheduled to air two Christmas specials back to back, however since President Obama will be addressing the nation, the dates for Disney Prep & Landing and A Charlie Brown Christmas have been changed.
I’m thinking most little kids will be less enthused about Obama’s address as they were about seeing the new Disney Christmas special or the Peanuts gang but rest assured, ABC has already found a new date and time to air the specials. Viewers can re-set their DVRs for December 8th. Below is the new lineup for the two specials:
And since the two specials are taking the spot of the hour-long Charlie Brown Christmas special that was originally scheduled for the 8th, that special, which in addition to the actual short film, also includes a series of Christmas-themed animated stories entitled “Charlie Brown Christmas Tales,” will air on December 15th, replacing Modern Family and The Middle.
