Raising Hope Adds Emily Rutherfurd, Brian Doyle-Murray For Two-Part Episode

Fox’s Raising Hope is a big fan of two-part episodes, and double the comedy means double the guest stars. The show has a two-part episode planned for February and the network has enlisted The Middle’s Brian Doyle Murray and The New Adventures of Old Christine’s Emily Rutherfurd to join the party. Some moderate plot spoilers are listed below, so only read on if you don’t mind.

The Chance family occasionally goes on vacation, but this year, that vacation will come with a caveat—Sabrina and Jimmy will go on a honeymoon. The couple’s been engaged for a while, now, but apparently the wedding will actually be in the works a little sooner than expected, and some of Jimmy’s family will tag along to the February honeymoon, set in Hollywood. According to TV Line, while most of the family is otherwise occupied, Rutherfurd's character will visit Maw Maw. Since she’s the daughter of one of Maw Maw’s husband’s mistresses, things could get a bit icky.

While the rest of the Chance family basks in the sunny weather in Los Angeles, Doyle-Murray will hit the scene as a TV executive who thinks Hope is adorable (Who wouldn’t?). Doyle-Murray will seize the chance to star Jimmy’s pint-sized daughter in Yo Zappa Do, which sounds suspiciously like Yo Gabba Gabba. Hopefully, while they are in Hollywood, Virginia will also get the chance to catch a glimpse of some celebrities like that Tosh point zero star, but we will have to wait until February to find out.

Raising Hope airs Tuesdays on Fox at 8 p.m. ET.
