Even though Rob Lowe is leaving Brothers & Sisters after this season, doesn't mean we won't be seeing plenty of him on TV. He's already signed on for Parks & Recreation beginning May 13, and now he's joining David Duchovny on Showtime's Californication.

His character is Eddie Nero, a slightly unhinged actor who's vying for the role of a lifetime: Hank Moody (Duchovny) in the film version of his life story, F**king & Punching. I read that to mean we'll get to see Lowe doing his impression of Duchovny. Add in the fact that both Lowe and Duchovny have had their own sex scandals, and it should be a lot of fun watching the two of them pair off against one another. They're both too cool for TV, which

While it's only a one-episode stint so far, the option is there to expand the role into further episodes. All they'd have to do is cast him in the role and start production on the film. After moody and depressing storylines on Brothers & Sisters, it'll be a lot of fun watching Lowe loosen up and have some fun again.
