SNL Presents A Very Gilly Christmas Airs Thursday Night

Saturday Night Live tends to shine around the holidays, so it couldn’t have been difficult to mind material for the two-hour special that’s set to air tomorrow night. SNL Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas will feature some classic holiday-themed SNL sketches as well as some new material, which includes seasoned SNL guest-hosts Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.

Gilly’s always up to no good, so I’m sure the special will feature Wiig’s character getting up to some holiday shenanigans. Meanwhile, fans of the Schweddy Balls sketch or Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake’s “Dick in a box” digital short will get the chance to see these classic sketches along with the new material.

Below is NBC’s description for the special and further down is the “Delicious Dish” sketch, which features Alec Baldwin as he dazzles the hosts with his balls.

“The two-hour special will include brand-new material with Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, the infamous troublemaker "Gilly" (played by Kristen Wiig), and others. The special will also feature favorite holiday-themed sketches from SNL's 35-year history.SNL holiday favorite sketches will include "NPR's Delicious Dish and the Schweddy Balls" with Alec Baldwin, "A Holiday Wish" with Steve Martin, alongside newer fare like Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg's "D**k in a Box."

SNL Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas will air on Thursday, December 17 from 8PM-10PM ET on NBC.
