Sarah Connor Chronicles Will Be Back For A Second Season

Fantastic news, SCC fans! TVGuide.com’s Ausiello is reporting that Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles has been picked up for a second season. While he wasn’t able to get an official confirmation from the studios, “multiple sources” are saying that it’s a done deal.

Since we learned at the end of March that the network gave the producers the go-ahead to start hiring directors for future episodes, I can’t say that I’m overly surprised by the news that SCC is being picked up for another season but I am extremely excited by it nonetheless (though I’ll feel better once Fox makes the official announcement.)

Sarah Connor Chronicles is a spinoff from the Terminator films and follows Sarah and her teenaged son John as they try to avoid getting assassinated by killer robots from the future. Their main source of protection (besides their ever-increasing survival skills) is Cameron, a good terminator sent from the future to keep them safe.
