Since last summer, those of us who got hooked on the ABC Family series, Greek have been waiting to find out how bad the aftermath was for the Cyprus Rhodes Greek system after one of their own turned out to be a spy for the campus newspaper. It looks as though we'll find out in March!
According to ABC Family's website, the second season of Greek will premiere on Monday, March 24th at 8:00 p.m. EST. Though its just under two months, it still seems like a long time away but considering the first season premiered in the summer, I'd say the network is giving us a bit of a bonus by starting up the new season so soon. And according to TVShowsonDVD.com, the first season will be available on DVD on Tuesday, March 18th. The bonus features include a sneak peek at the new season.
For those of you who missed out on Greek this summer, the ABC Family show is a dramedy about college life from the perspective of a freshman named Rusty who has decided to try and shed his geeky lifestyle and join a fraternity. His older sister Casey is pretty, popular and like so many other college kids, still trying to figure out what kind of person she wants to be. The series teeters back and forth between serious college issues and the humerous antics that go on in sororities and fraternities. I'm pretty sure the show is meant to be geared towards younger people (late teens/early 20's) but that doesn't stop me from loving it.
