Sofia Vergara And Josh Brolin To Host Saturday Night Live In April

She’s been making us laugh as Gloria Pritchett in Modern Family for about three seasons so far. I’d say it’s about time Sofia Vergara took the stage at Saturday Night Live to host. The gorgeous Colombian actress will have her SNL hosting debut next month.

We’re stuck with reruns for SNL right now, but when the NBC sketch comedy series makes its return with new episodes next month, Sofia Vergara will be the first to host. NBC announced the news today, stating that One Direction will serve as the musical guest for the episode, which will air on April 7. This will also be One Direction’s first gig on the SNL stage.

The week following (April 14), Josh Brolin will return to host Saturday Night Live, with Gotye as the musical guest. This is Brolin’s second time hosting SNL, and while the odds seem favorable that there will be some kind of nod to Men in Black 3, in which Brolin is set to appear, I’m crossing my fingers that we’ll get a Goonies themed sketch. Regardless of whatever excellent performances Brolin delivers in the more recent years of his career, I will probably forever associate him with the dreamy Brand.
