Al Roker and his production company Size 12 Productions are bringing a new show to Spike TV. The unscripted show will take viewers into the world of the Drug Enforcement Agency and the dark underworld in which they work.

It seems that today’s television producers don’t care that drug dealers might be watching, and that some secrets of the DEA might be revealed to the same people that they are looking to catch. A quote from a press release reveals, “Television viewers will get the same unprecedented access to the inner workings of the DEA as our camera crews – the raids, the risk and the danger,” said Al Roker, executive producer. “This series is the real deal, exposing elements of illegal drug trade that you could not imagine. When you watch ‘DEA,’ you will feel like you have gone undercover.”

The show will be titled simply, DEA, and premieres on Wednesday, April 2nd at 11pm EDT. DEA will consist of six episodes, and will highlight both the methods of the DEA and the relationships they develop with the dealers they bust.
