Spoiler Rumor: Dollhouse Confirmed To Be Epic This Week

I’ve been wondering what the big deal could be with this week’s Dollhouse episode. We’ve heard from Whedon and Dushku that this one is the game changer. It’s the episode that really gets the entire series rolling. Of course my wife continues to hope for a scene with Tahmoh and Dushku, preferably with them fighting and Tahmoh is shirtless. I’ll opt for the opposite wardrobe situation if anyone is listening. But the truth may be a bit surprising. This is sort of rumor and speculation, despite the photo below, but be warned that a fairly big spoiler awaits you below.
We’ve been introduced to the horror that was Alpha’s attack on the Dollhouse. The naked corpses and slashed up bodies have already been established. Some people on the Something Awful forum were perusing the uploaded images of set designer Leonard Harman and found something intriguing. Within the group of pictures is one titled “Dollhouse lair.” It looks almost like a makeshift Dollhouse, with an alternate version of the wiping chair we see each week. But the big reveal is that we are already going to meet Alpha. At least that’s what the speculation is since the character in the picture is holding a knife (Alpha likes the knives) and has a mostly naked victim tied up. Oh yeah, and the actor portraying what we assume to be Alpha is Alan Tudyk! Alpha’s little Dollhouse looks like it could have been an undiscovered room aboard Serenity. I’m just happy to see Tudyk back with Whedon, and if he is Alpha I am expecting great things from Dollhouse now. No more leaf on a wind for Tudyk, now he’s a blade at your throat.
