Star Trek's By Any Other Name Gets A Digital Makeover

Last year, the original Star Trek series was given a digital makeover. The digitally remastered episodes have since been airing one by one on the weekend and will continue to air through August. This weekend the episode titled, “By Any Other Name” will make it’s digitally remastered debut in syndication.

In case your memory is fuzzy, this episode of Star Trek centers on a bunch of aliens from the Andromeda Galexy called Kelvans. The Kelvans take over the Starship Enterprise and take on human form. Unfortunately for them, they didn’t anticipate some of the side-effects to being human, which turn out to be their undoing.

William Shatner plays Captain James T. Kirk. Leonard Nimoy is Mr. spock and DeForest Kelley plays the role of Dr. McCoy. Guest starring in the episode are Warren Stevens and Barbara Bouchet.
