Swift And NPH On SNL

While SNL still has a sucky ass guy portraying President Obama and no regular African-American female to play our next first lady, they do have a legen… wait for it… dary host for the first show of 2009. They also have a singer performing that I have never heard of until my wife told me I was woefully behind the times.

Neil Patrick Harris is awesome, of course, and I can’t wait to see what a great job he does as host. His performance on How I Met Your Mother and Dr. Horrible shows the range and pop culture street cred that Harris has developed over the past couple years. According to TFR The musical guest will be Taylor Swift. I’ll be honest. I’m 34 and apparently already out of touch with the current music scene. I had no idea who she was. According to my wife, she’s quite popular. According to my oldest daughter, she got dumped by Joe Jonas. Hmmm… that doesn’t help that much.

Some of you will be turning in for Taylor Swift, but for me, I’ll be watching because Neil Patrick Harris is totally steak sauce.
