I don't think we were watching the same program. Talk about putting a positive spin on a horror show! You failed to mention that Kate called Mady "stupid" for complaining about having to wear shoes that didn't fit, that Jon called the children annoying, that Kate complained about the cupcake experience from the minute they piled out of the van in front of the store, that she inspected Joel's fingernails and then asked him to remind her never to eat anything he makes, that the nice bakery lady wanted to give the kids a cupcake to eat there and one to take home, but Kate said no (although the twins were allowed to have one), that both Kate and Jon agreed that they would NEVER eat anything made by their kids, because kids are gross, and that Mady didn't "play a game" with Hannah, she SPOON FED HER. A 4-year-old. Oh, and that the boys were required to sit at the table and watch as their sisters ate their cupcakes.
The body language between Jon and Kate has been getting more and more tense with each episode. During their spat over his use of the word "seasons", you could have cut the tension with a knife. This episode was not cute. It was not fun. It was cruel.
BLIND is the criticism by Gwen and not my recap because hers is INACCURATE. I certainly don't mind anyone disagreeing with me, (bring it on! lol) but misquoting me and providing inaccurate information is not acceptable!
Those who comment next such as KS Dallas then believe Gqen's comments to be accurate and go from there without noting that Gwen's direct quote: "play a game" is NOT in my article ANYWHERE -- please check above and you'll see that!
I actually said "persuading them in a fun way" and Gwen used quotation marks to say "play a game." This is not how you quote or even paraphrase someone!
Kate did not in any way tell Mady she was stupid. She was referring to Mady's behavior and not Mady herself. Kate did not complain any more than usual. So what if Kate and Jon say they won't eat anything their kids make? You didn't bother to add why -- wiping snotty noses and then putting those hands in the baking etc. Yeah kids do that I don't eat stuff kids make either and I assistant at a daycare and kindergarten. No adult in their right mind would really. Its a joke thing anyway and Gwen obviously missed the part -- and I did mention it in my recap! -- where Jon ate some of the kids' cupcakes.
If you're gonna pick stuff apart, Gwen, please quote me accurately rather than concentrating only on a negative spin! Accuracy first people and KS Dallas -- the blind following the blind? You can see above that Gwen's direct quote of my recap is inaccurate!
Please please disagree with me, but get it right! Thanks :)
Jon and Kate in my opinion are terrific parents, hey if you have criticism, I would suggest you try raising 8 little children. The entire family have my prayers and cheers for a wonderful life together.
