TV Top Ten - Dancing Taps Into Idol's Territory

Dancing With The Stars is just getting warmed up, but it's already giving American Idol a run for its money. While Idol's numbers have slowly been slipping Dancing crept high enough last week to beat out the singing contest's Tuesday show.

FOX has American Idol. ABC has Dancing and Grey's Anatomy. CBS has 60 Minutes and an entire chain of solid crime dramas. Everyone has a solid, consistent piece of the top ten except NBC. Its new heavy drama Kings hasn't made a blip on the radar, and despite all the stars it's drawn back in for the final season of ER, not even the final episodes of the long suffering show have been able to help the network crack the top ten.

Cable television continues to be the place where WWE Raw spawns and episodes of Spongebob and NCIS go to die. At least the Lifetime movies of the week are in good company.
