Taylor Swift on New Girl

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22… looking at the new photo for Taylor Swift's upcoming appearance in Fox's New Girl. The "22" singer is set to appear in the Fox comedy's second season finale, and while we don't have a lot to go on as far as who she's playing, we now have a look at her towering over Zooey Deschanel in the episode.

Spoiler photos from Cece's wedding below!

Swift may very well steal the show when she appears in the May 14 episode. EW says she's playing a character named Elaine, and as it happens, the episode's title is "Elaine's Big Day." But it's supposed to be Cece's big day, as Hannah Simone's character, Cece, is set to marry Shivrang in the episode. Now, whether or not that wedding goes off as planned remains to be seen. I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping Cece and Max Greenfield's Shmidt reconnect, and that seems a little less likely if Cece gets married.

Swift's character Elaine will be attending Cece and Shivrang's wedding, but beyond that, we don't know what she'll be up to. Is she a model like Cece? Or just one of her glamorous friends? Or maybe the "big day" mention in the title means she's a rival of Cece's and looking to steal her show somehow.

On a related note to the photo, it gives us a look at Jess' dress! But here's a better glimpse of it...

But it's Cece's big day (in spite of the episode title). What does Cece look like walking down the aisle? See for yourself:

Stunning!

While we wait 2 weeks for the finale, here's something to get stuck in your head. New Girl gets the auto-tune treatment…
