Attention Star Wars fans! Cartoon Network’s Emmy Award-winning animated series, ‘Star Wars: Clone Wars’ is now available to purchase and download from iTunes. The animated shorts were created to fill in the gap between episodes 2 and 3 of the Star Wars prequels. Hardcore Star War fans will now be able to watch the series on their computers or upload them to their iPods.

iTunes is charging their usual $1.99 per episode. Anyone who’s familiar with the series knows the episodes are only a few minutes long. Paying two bucks for a 4 minute video isn’t exactly a great deal. If you’re interested in downloading the series, your best bet is to purchase the entire volume at once. The full set is $10.99 (for all 20 episodes of Volume 1). That’s a pretty significant discount.

iTunes has been rapidly expanding its collection of pay-per-show television programs. Along with many of the current hit television series’, they’ve also begun adding retired shows such as ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ as well as vintage classics like ‘Lost in Space’.
