The Networks Do The Presidential Shuffle The networks are going to have to scramble come this Tuesday, December 1, as President Obama is looking to address the nation again at 8:00/7:00 PM Central. The speech is expected to last approximately 30 minutes, and this time FOX is joining the other three major networks in covering it; they've skipped out on the last few to air their scheduled reality shows.

So here's the breakdown on how the networks are adjusting their schedules (all times are ET), according to The Futon Critic.

ABC
--8:00 - Presidential news coverage (they will pre-empt two holiday specials -- A Charlie Brown Christmas and Disney's Prep & Landing -- and reschedule them for next week, December 8, at this time
--9:00 - Back-to-back episodes of Scrubs; the show's ninth season premiere
--10:00 - the forgotten

CBS
--8:00 - Presidential news coverage
--8:30 - NCIS (repeat)
--9:30 - Two and a Half Men (repeat)
--10:00 - The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

FOX
--8:00 - Presidential news coverage
--8:30 - So You Think You Can Dance (FOX will air the full two-hour program)

NBC
--8:00 - Presidential news coverage
--9:00 - The Biggest Loser (the two-hour show will pre-empt The Jay Leno Show entirely for the night)

The Presidential Address airs Tuesday, December 1 at 8:00 PM ET and will be covered by all four major networks.
