Tina Fey To Guest Star On The Simpsons In Season 24Author: Kelly West

Just yesterday, we learned that Ryan Lochte was set to film a cameo for 30 Rock, and now it seems 30 Rock star and creator is off to do her own guest appearance on another series. Tina Fey, who is well known for playing Liz Lemon on the NBC comedy series, is set to join the ranks of many other celebrities who've provided their voice to a guest role on The Simpsons over the series' lengthy run.
Entertainment Weekly posted the news, stating that Fey's episode will air sometime next spring, and is titled "Black-Eyed, Please." For those who don't want to be spoiled on any details about her character, you have all the basic information and should stop reading now. Spoiler-warning out of the way, it sounds like Fey's character Ms. Cantwell will be getting under Lisa's skin. The character is a substitute teacher who, for some reason, doesn't take to Lisa and decides to bully her. That includes giving her a 'B' (the horror!), and giving Ralph an 'A' (is that a first?). That's not the full extent of the woman's antagonism against Lisa (there's something involving a reading kangaroo, apparently), but it seems likely that at some point during the episode, we'll learn why she's giving the middle Simpsons child such a hard time. The Simpsons returns for Season 24 on September 30. Guest stars for the premiere include Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Zooey Deschanel, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sarah Silverman. Back to top
