Tyler Labine Going To Tucson, What About Reaper?

Oh Reaper why must you forsake us? First you go away so long that even I began to forget about you. And now that you’re back and in my heart again Sock goes and lands another job. Tyler Labine has just been cast as the lead in Sons of Tucson, a Fox comedy.

Labine will play a guy who’s hired by three kids to pretend to be their father while the real deal is in prison on Tucson. THR is saying that this casting is in “second position” to the CW’s Reaper, but it’s got to leave fans worried that Labine sees the writing on the wall and is ready to jump ship the moment someone says, “Hey, is that a huge frickin’ iceberg up ahead?”

The pilot-pallooza news continues with Sara Rue joining ABC’s Eastwick, Eion Bailey and Kristin Bauer signing on with CBS’ House Rules, and Richard Schiff going with Fox and The Reincarnationist.
