TV Guide To Air Susan Boyle TV Special This December

Last spring Susan Boyle too the stage on Britain’s Got Talent and stunned the audience and viewers with an outstanding performance of “I Dream a Dream.” After months of budding fame following the show, thanks in large part to the internet, when the video of her audition spot gave those of us across the pond and other parts of the globe a chance to see her, she went on to do an album (released this week) and now she’s getting her very own TV special.

TV Guide announced the news today, stating that the hour-long special, I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story will air on the TV Guide Network on Sunday, December 13th at 8/7c. It will include interviews with Boyle, her friends and even some celebrity fans.

In addition to wowing people with her fantastic voice, there was also an element of surprise as it’s clear from the start that even the audience didn’t see her coming when she first took the stage. Their snickers and eye-rolls turned to gasps, applause and expressions of shock the moment she sang the first few notes.
