This Friday night’s episode of Battlestar Galactica will be the last new episode that airs for a while. That’s the bad news (though it’s probably not news). The good news is, based on the clip from the episode, titled “Revelations,” I’m guessing this mid-season finale is going to be a good one! Spoiler Warning: This article contains some information about the upcoming episode of Battlestar Galactica so read at your own risk!
If you caught the teaser for the mid-season finale that aired immediately following last week’s episode, then you should already have a general idea of what’s going down this week. The rebel Cylons plan to hold Roslin hostage in exchange for the final Cylons. Here’s a clip from the episode:
For those of you who are unable to view the Hulu clip, we usually host the video ourselves to allow fans outside the U.S. the opportunity to see it but unfortunately, we don’t have the clip (yet). We’ll upload the video if/when it becomes available to us so be sure to check back in - Update: We've got the uploaded version of the clip now (posted above) but here's the rundown of the clip anyway:
Bill Adama climbs off a raptor onto Galactica’s and hugs Lee. D’Anna is with him and she stares out at the people who are there to greet Adama. There’s an Eight behind her (possibly the same Eight that has Athena’s memories?). Tori and Tigh are near the front of the crowd. D’Anna looks at them purposefully (but not in a way that would be obvious to anyone besides them and us). D’Anna tells everyone, “The good news is that your president Laura Roslin is alive and well, as are your crewmates.” Adama tells everyone, “She wants four Cylons that are in this fleet. She’s gonna hold our people hostage until she gets them.”
D’Anna responds, “You don’t have to do anything except stay out of the way. I’m already in contact with them. Now that they realize that there’s nothing to fear and that we only want to love and protect them (Tori looks awkward and nervous, Tigh looks stern), they should find a way of joining us. I just ask that you don’t interfere with any of the shuttle traffic within the fleet.” Lee responds skeptically, “So your plan is to take these ‘four cylons’ (he doesn’t do the air quotes but the tone is there) and head off to earth leaving us behind?”
D'Anna says, “Now, that’s up to them.” (she smirks). Lee says, “Alright, if these four cylons (cut to Tori looking thoughtful and still, awkward) want to come to you (pan up to Anders and Tigh leaning over the railing watching down at the scene), I won’t stop them.” D’Anna asks, “Do you agree with this, Admiral?” and Adama barks, “Agreed.”
Woah. Ok so we’re assuming D’Anna knows the identities of all five, right? But there’s only talk of four here. So why is she holding back on the fifth cylon? Is he or she not among the fleet? Presumed dead? Or is it that she just didn’t recognize whoever it is?
And here's the "What the Frak?" recap video for "The Hub".

D'Anna has already named the 5th Cylon (it's Roslin). She however will not be turned on until she is on Earth and dying (and they just got to Earth tonight). Once turned on she will reveal to everyone (remember ALL will be revealed?) that they are ALL Cylons and that they defeated the humans Centons ago. With all humans dead, they had no legacy or purpose so designed themselves as human/cylon camps and rebuild Caprica only to re-enact the wars every thousand Yarn to travel back to the last outpost to be defeated (Earth). StarBuck actually died going thru the nebula (on the Earth side) only to be downloaded into a new body in a resurrection pod on Earth, and bootstrapped once she was in a new Viper sent from Earth. I've seen this all coming for a while now, I think it will soon ALL be revealed.
LOL... I don't think it was Earth they found. You forget, that Starbuck is to lead them to their destruction- But I think not ALL humans or maybe even none may perish. Hence the BIG cliff hanger so oddly in the middle of the series season.
It's another planet that the Ancients found also, Also on their way to Earth. It's a pattern that they are following the ones that went before them. But don't stress, because for sure they will find Earth... IN THE COMING MOVIE!
Will find the planet they found is not Earth but a stepping stone the 13th Colony partially colonized on the way to Earth. When they eventually find Earth it will be:
1. Some time in our distant past, or
2. Far enough in our future that Global Warming is finally threatening humanity's survival, Adama will assign Baltar the task of getting the surviving earth nations up to speed in a massive shipbuilding program - jump forward in time to a much larger fleet of humanity, led by Adama, in search of a habitable planet, which they find in the final episode, or
3. NOT find, as this leaves it opened up for the movie franchise.
I know it was said that there'll be an actual conclusion to the series, but one can hope...
I have been telling everyone every since Starbuck got back in a brand new viper, that the 5th will not be named and that Starbucks ride was the key to earth. I like how everyone keeps guessing about the 5th. If you watch the show and listen to the small talk you will know that it was not in the fleet. Ask yourself this" If Starbuck goes to earth in a junker of a viper and returns in a brand new one and earth is radioactive. Then how or what helped her??????" If you watch the background in the show you will see a few things. Remember Starbuck will lead them to there end!!!!!!!!!!!!
But, when the got to "Earth" Adama asked Gaeta to "go slow and be sure" or something like that and Gaeta said that all the constellations were in the right place. The ONLY place in the universe that that is possible is at Earth, depending how accurately they can measure their current location and how accurately they know the correct locations of the constellations.
What did you think about Lee's comment at the time of the agreement to join together to find earth? He said another confrontation was possible but that they could all change their minds and make a different ending this time. Do you think he was talking about that moment or was he foreshadowing another time when they will all agree to change their destiny...assert their free will...which is a theme of possibility that has held throughout the series?
I believe that they found Earth but after a war of some kind. After a war very much like the cold war when the Russians and the United States were in the race of rocketry. So they might have launched some kind of rockets at each and made everything radioactive. Also I believe that they were in New York, because the last scene showed Star Buck looking at the ruins on the planet and next to her was a bridge that looked very much like the brooklyn bridge or what would be left of it. Also you could see a island with taller ruins then the other ones. So maybe they landed in America!
I just wanted to throw this in the mix. I remember from the very beginning, Scifi had a BSG promo, where they interviewed actors and described sets etc... In the interview with Edward James Olmos, someone asked him for a spoiler, and his reply was somethng along the lines of: All I can tell you is that we never make it to earth. Anyone else remember that?
It has to be the same Earth we all live in, so it must be in some distant past or future from NOW or we would be there. So, this is either the start of the Human race on Earth or the new beginning.
so starbuck is proven to be the harbinger of death ..
1 . she found earth made contact with us
2 . we helped her we reversed engenniered a viper for her cos her's was badly damaged
3 . she left to return to the fleet and bring them here
now this is the easy bit of my idea
4 . humans sqaubled over who has the power of the new battlestars that was going to be built the religouse extremists started beleting on that there was only one god not 12 the muzziees claimed that there was on ali#barba as a god and all hell broke loose mass suicide bombers and killings brothers against brothers fathers against sons and then as we all know how it is going to end some mad son of a bi**h presses the button cut forward in time and we see the result when aliens ( our brothers from the stars ) finnaly land
Several times in the show it has been mentioned that Starbuck is the "Harbinger of Death". Never do I recall that it is for the human race. She was, however, instrumental in bringing death to the cylons, now that they can no longer download into new bodies after being killed.
I also doubt that it is Earth that was reached, but time will tell.
These are all great ideas, I have no theory, no clue, I'm just glad to know its only the mid-season break, or I would have been pretty pissed off, I have no clue how they are going to write these new events away, don't really care, just sucks that we waited over a year to watch the series, and now we all have to wait even longer to see what the heck is going on, this is turning into another lost, thats why Jericho was good, it ended at some point, didn't drag on for the sake of making money or whatever. I love the show, but for the love of god or gods, stop the pain.
I want to know how the writers will explain how the final 5 have already been to Earth. Several times the Cylons have said that "they have been there and can show us the way". I'm thinking that the final 5 are from Earth and that they are how the Cylons were able to create the 7 "skin job" models without all the Cylons knowing who they were and why there was only 1 copy of each of them.
Plus if Tigh is a "skin jobl" Cylon like the other seven models then how is the Six on the BSG pregnant. Cylon's can't get each other pregnant!
It's Baltar or Roslind that's nr 5.. The 12 cylons represent 12 colonies, they are the 12 ancient Gods..They will start everthing over by going back to the past.. Everything thats happend before, will happen again!
I agree with the earlier comment. Those ruins of a bridge DID look like the Brooklyn Bridge, however, the East River seems far wider than it is now. I think it IS New York, in some future, decades or perhaps centuries after a nuclear war of some kind.
come on ppl it is simple follow the facts
1 starbuck is the harbinger of death
2 she found earth
3 we revesed engenired her viper
4 she told us of the war the 12 gods
5 she left
6 we then could not handle the tech
7 we started religous wars (because all religions on earth think their god is the best lmao )
8 wars broke out as to who was in charge of the tech
9 by the time they got here it was to late we had killed ourselves
10 they start a new
Since nobody else has said it, The fifth is Dr. Cottle (sic) The kindly doc who has been there from the beginnning, gently helping them along. They have not found earth, Stepping stone like New Caprica. NE way, that is my humble opinion
I have to say bsg is the best sci-fi flick in several years!!! im hooked! i just have one comment. when you saw what looked like earth from space, it didnt look like earth!, nothing looked like any continents at all! also the sun looked way to close too! i have a dvr and i have played it back frame by frame! i dont think its earth. but they will find clues there on this planet. my take.
Everyone seems to be assuming that the 5th is a humanoid model, but if a Cylon Raider can be a "living machine" why not a VIPER?
Consider:
1) A brand new (resurrected?) Viper appears with Starbuck,
2) It has been to Earth (if you believe Starbuck has as well),
3) So it probably knows the way there or back, and
4) In the last episode, indeed it does lead them there.
They do find Earth, but it's after the end of the world (in 2012 if the Mayans are correct). The symbolism there is that the world may well end before the series ever does... (wondering how long we will have to wait for the rest of season 4)
forgot one more important item why this is not earth. if any of you recorded the last show, look at the angle the "planet" was shot, twice!! it was very close and at odd angles, and how close the ships appeared too and their angle to the "planet", notice im not calling it earth? why not show earth from a distance? there's a reason!!!
it is not earth, remember the picture that starbuck took on the viper. the planet had i think 2 moons or a red moon. either way, by her information input,it is not earth, but a colony of the 13th. maybe it was attacked by another race of aliens. i'm surprised that it never came up.
if the writers put the show into earths past then it will ruin the whole show. past events suck, beter to move forward and let the galactica and cylons be the primtive ones for a change....oh and not star trek stuff.
a far as the season finale, it was good , nice ending but weak and rushed to end it. as soon as the fleet jumped and arrived at the planet, why didn't they pick up signals coming from the planet. plus what makes them think thay can just jump to earth with out setting off a planet wide alarm. it something of someones are guiding them, then that concludes a advanced technology that can watch them.
I think there is only one episode left or the next one will be 4.5 with serveral episodes. I think it is Starbuck. That is also earth, i think. in the original series they never found earth! What clues are everyone seeing? I have looked at the picture (of the last dinner) and i see no clues. what do you guys see?
That was earth i think, wrong time tho..When they placed the arrow of apollo in the temple, they saw a "green" earth,so something is clearly off.Starbuck also said the earth was green, with fluffy white skies. So,right place, wrong time.. Starbuck proberly went in a wormhole/black hole and was transported back in time. Helo can also be the 5th, he wasen't on the fleet, and fits with Diannas statement.
It's also possible that the earth is destroyed because of Starbuck was there, harbinger of death and all. But if they all can travel back in time, all that has happend before, can start again.
I think it was Earth. Our Earth. I think the ruins they see is supposed to be a statement of how we have treated the planet and extinguished ourselves without the Cylons help. I guess we weren't green enough. Reminisent of Planet of the Apes or Logans Run. I did notice they were testing the soil for radiation. Maybe it is more like Terminator and the button got pushed. Either way, I think we did ourselves in.
Any news as to when we can find out if I am right?
I'm sorry, but with the comments/speculations that some of you made, it's like you weren't even paying attention! And most of the future plot guesses are ridiculous. This is why I haven't check the forums til now. Yikes.
The 5th is not on the fleet, or with the Cylons. It IS Earth. There was a war, at least at the spot they landed on. There's got to be survivors. If the FFive have been to Earth, doesn't mean one of them (the 5th) isn't there now ... might have been the one to send Starbuck back. Starbuck is the "harbinger of death" but who's death, and what does "death" mean? Death of the human/cylon war? Death of cylon resurrection? Death of Earth or most of the 13th colonists?
There's so many things it could mean that it's pointless (but fun) to speculate. It's annoying when fans start speculating & making no sense because they haven't fully thought out any possible contradictions.
Good grief Charlie Brown.
Referring back to what the male hybrid from Razor said about history repeating itself (essentially), it's easy to wonder if after Revelations, they'll rebuild Earth together (humans & cylons), find out the origins of the FFive and how they relate to the other 7, and after millenia, possibly colonize another world with 12 colonies with Earth being the "planet of origin", like Kobol was to Caprica, and another 13th colony settling on another planet which becomes as mystical as Earth after more millenia has past. Which will lead to more cylon/human wars, and the humans running away to find this mystical (yet to be named) planet where the next 13th colony went to, just like season 1.
This fits! It's based off of previous material. It could be wrong, but it's not over the top or far fetched. It's more productive to go catch-up on Smallville or NCIS. You should too. ;) I recommend House and Boston Legal too. LOL
I think it was our Earth too. I think the Cylons have already destroyed it, possibly other Cylons. As far as the 5th of the Final Five, I don't think it's Baltar or Pres Roslin there would be no wow factor if it was one of them. I'm still trying to figure that one out, but it's clear they are not in the fleet.
They found Earth. Just over the Horizen an army of terminaters preps to attack. BSG and Cylons vs the Terminaters. They fight to take back the planet and save the few Earth Humans. Oh and John Conner and Arnold team up to help. Then a few years later Alien-clyon hybreds hatch and give everyone a hard time until the Preditors show up and take out the Aliens. Just when they thought they had all the Aliens and robots taken care of they are attacked by some other intellegent robots and only defeat those when some people from a underground city call Zion help out, lead by an army of clones calling themselves Neo 1, Neo 2, etc. In the process a ancient temple with a Star Gate is discovered and when they activate it, some jedi come through with a plan to restore the final balance to the force.
It all makes perfect sence.
Here's an off the wall thought: Starbuck has been maneuvered by an advanced civilization to lead our heroes to Earth. These aliens, who may/may not have been the original occupants of the desolute planet BSG thinks is earth, will not allow the searchers any closer to the real Earth until all conflicts with the cylons are settled. Now whether or not this advanced race is the lost 13th colony, I do not think so.
I often wondered if the writers would try to incorporate the alien aspect from the original series into this one. Here's my thought process: If we assume Starbuck is not a Cylon, then someone has been manipulating cara since she was a child (her dreams and paintings of the nebula). Next, we all saw her ship blow apart, only to come back a short time later after having been to Earth and arriving in a fresh "off the showroom floor" Viper. This little feat requires either highly advanced technology or omnipotence. But God has a funny way of keeping out of our business and letting us muddle through under our own devices. I like my hypothetical, because the time travel/time loop angle has been done to death. In conclusion, I think that the hybrid's prephetic statement about Starbuck being the harbinger of death clearly refers to the end of the Cylon's resurrection capabilites.
So, you people are really lousing control. It's as simply as that:
1. battlestar is a series - the producers don't now yet how to end it. Why? (see point 2)
2. the producers don't want to end the show (not now) - ending it equals jobless. so they improvise considering poles. They pay after each episode a great deal of money just to know stuff like: witch character is your favorite?; did you like the special effects? And they act in consequence

costin cc.... i agree with you! this is why i dont think its earth. not the earth they are looking for! 12 more shows to go at the start of spring 2009! i saw starbucks face in slo mo on my dvr. she looked puzzeld! very odd look! and if its earth, its not "THEIR" timeline! i stll belive they will find clues on this planet, maybe the 13th tribe was there for awhile. as i stated earlier, the way this planet was showed from space. also why didnt they detect radioactivity from space if the whole planet was nuked?
I think I may have uncovered a few clues looking at the BG Last Supper image. I have not drawn any conclusion just have noticed a few interesting things. I share these observations here in the interest of fostering further debate and discussion.
First, I have compared the BG Last Supper image to Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper painting in Milan. The first thing I noticed was that the Jesus figure was replaced by Baltar's Six (real or delusional) and that she is looking left and up as opposed to Jesus who is looking right and down.
The second thing I noticed is that there is a missing figure if we are to compare it to Leonardo's Last Supper. In Leornardo's Last Supper there are twelve disciples and Jesus for a total of 13 figures. In the BG Last Supper image there are a total of 12 figures. In Leonardo's Last Super, the disciples are split into four groups of three. In the BG Last Supper there are three groups of three and a fourth pair of Lee Adama and Baltar. It is with this group that the missing figure should be with. Where the missing figure could be placed a very ecclesiatical looking chalice is conspicuosly placed of which Lee Adama could be contemplating.
Speaking of objects, there are various articles on the table; a chalice/goblet by Lee Adama, four books (two open and two closed), and two glasses of water (one half full by Baltar and one full by Anders).
One thing that deserves special attention is that the figure third on the right from Six,Tyrol (a cylon) placed between two other cylons, is brandishing a large knife. In the Leonardo Last Super painting there is also a figure holding a knife, Judas. The one interesting difference is that Judas, clutching his bag of silver is third on the left from the Jesus figure. This may be a stretch but if you were to flip the BG image so that Six was looking in the same direction as Jesus in Leonardo's painting (a la, the Mona Lisa / Jesus theory) Tyrol would be in the same position as Judas.
Athena is pointing to Adama. Natalie is demostratively pointing in the direction of Adama. And Tigh could be contrued as gazing in the direction of Adama. Which makes me think of Leoben's warning to Roslin in Flesh and Bone that Adama is a cylon.
So far, the only thing I can deduce from this initial look is that there is something significant about the placement and the menacing contenances of Tyrol, there is something significant about the missing figure and the placement of the chalice my Lee Adama and finally, there is something significant in three cylons possibly pointing at Admiral Adama. I draw no conlcusion at this time.
i saw cars and bridges and everything to make me want to believe its earth... if it is not earth that means sum how we survived long enough to colonize other planets which is just stupid because we all know humans are stupid and we will kill ourselves and everything else eventually.. maybe the other cylons found earth before and killed everyone... everyone forgot about them.. and some how we still have to explain what the hell designed the cylons to have all this happen... why kill all the humans to live with them? and the fifth has to be someone with alot of power, i bet you he is responsible for starbuck coming back... he;s probally the creator of all the cylons some crazy master thats been creating cylons maybe he's "GOD"
mockster, that was Galatica 1980 series, and it wasn't Apollo and Starbuck on the bikes. It was Boxey (all grown up) and Lt Dillon. Apparently, Boxey's father Apollo was dead because Boxey on the first episode talked about him in the past tense. Starbuck was stranded and marooned on a desert planet. That was the finale episode to Galatica 1980 titled "The Return of Starbuck" which was really good. Finally, in Galatica 1980 is the first time we see human looking cylon who crash land on earth and take Wolfman Jack hostage in a New York.
I like all the theories and enthusiasm. I am also waiting for a conclusion. I hope it will not be drawn out.
I’ve been contemplating that either:
1. It is not Earth, but a stepping-stone to Earth that the 13th colony first inhabited. The 13th colony had two kinds of citizens. Humans and Cylons. The Humans and Cylons almost killed each other on this planet. To create equality, the 13th colonist along with the Cylons created Human looking Cylons to honor their treaty and make peace. They now begin anew, by going and finding a new planet to live on together. This is our Earth.
Now flash forward a few hundred years and Earth is bustling with life, but we cannot tell who is Cylon and who is Human. It’s because every being walking the face of the Earth is a Human-Cylon hybrid. This is why Tigh is able to age. It’s because he is not just a Cylon, but a Human-Cylon hybrid.
2. The 13th colonist & the Cylons almost killed each. To foster harmony and unity they procreated together and sent the product of that procreation to Earth. They land on Earth, but on the Atlantis continent. That continent started to sink into the ocean suddenly. Atlantis was the starting point and the heart of the new civilization. All of their technology was there. They had not yet colonized the rest of the Earth. Some escaped to different continents to start over. Five were sent to find their ancestors that sent them to Earth. When they arrive to the planet of their (human-cylon) origin, they found that there was no life left because the Humans & Cylons killed each other. After finding the devastated planet of their (human-cylon) origin, they set off to find the 12 original colonies.
This is the planet that BSG has landed on. It’s not Earth, but the planet that the 13th colony first landed on and the birthplace of the human-cylon race that currently inhabits Earth today. God wanted BSG & the Cylons to land there first to see were they would end up if Humans & Cylons did not learn to live together.
3. This one is pretty far fetched but…if we use the distant past theory: BSG is on Earth, but landed on the Atlantis continent. They find a devastated Earth because the 13th colonist and the Cylons almost killed each other. There was little to no advance technology left. The only way both races (Human & Cylon) could survive was to some how procreate together. The descendents of this unity is the humble human race scattered and living on Earth without space traveling technology. BSG lands on the continent Atlantis (were the 13th colony & cylons created their descendents and were the last war was). After surveying the Earth, they notice that the 13th colony decedents really have no recollection of were they originally came from, but has somehow held on to the gods of old. They find a memorial plaque on Atlantis which tells the story of how the 13th colonist along with Cylons almost killed each other and how the only way both races could survive was to work together and there descendents (human-cylons) was a product of that union. To respect the 13th colony & cylons, they settle on Atlantis and rebuild it, but never tried to interfere with the human-cylons that currently inhabit the Earth, because they are literally starting over again without technology. Now they are the Atlantis legend that we talk about today. The advanced civilization that once lived on Earth was BSG
P.S. I believe that Roslin is the fifth cylon. Also, if they do make it to Earth and if it is teaming with life, that life will be made up of all Human-Cylon hybrids.
the visible constellations are a "match", but they were being viewed from a solar system on the other side of the galaxy.they probably landed on another planet that is supposed to be exactly like Earth, maybe a planet called "Terra" or "Centari". that is exactly the same distance from the constellations that Earth is only on the other side of them. But if I am wrong, I wonder how they're all going to react when they find a church and / or a Holy Bible. Why does that wreckage look like the Brooklyn Bridge to everyone?
ok I have one more theory.
It takes place in the past. When they arrived on Earth . they were standing on the remains of Atlantis. Atlantis was destroyed by the cylons (the Final 5) and it was most likely done from space. they have been to Earth after all but they have no memories of it. Everything was wiped out including anything remotely resembling any kind of technology. What remains of any land masses and structures will eventually sink and erode to nothing or be finished off by the cylons.
D'eanna made the comment that the fifth was not in the fleet. Up until a little bit ago I assumed the that fifth was with the Cylons or at least on a Cylon ship. I have read comments that suggest there is a ressurection vessel of some type on earth. If so would that mean that anyone that was "killed off" in previous seasons or episodes may be the fifth and waiting for them on Earth? [Billy, Saul's wife, Cheif's wife, etc.]
You guys aren't thinking correctly, they landed in New Jersey, looking towards New York.
Just that area has been hit with a nuclear bomb, remember terrorist are out too destroy the United States, and have already attacked New York , what if they did it in a bigger way.
On nuclear bomb can cover a big distance, but not destroy the whole Earth, what if only an area lets say 100 miles from the epicenter of a nuclear explosion, thus making 100 mile circumference radioactive.
The Geiger counter would have been going crazy if there was a high instance of radioactivity, listen to the Geiger counter, it's not making much of a noise.
Also, why couldn't people that made a spaceship, that can travel billions and billions of light years detect a planet full of radioactivity.
The just landed in a hot zone, the people of Earth are still alive
The city we are shown at the end of 4.10 Revelations isn't a modern city of Earth. The story of the 13th tribe is true, and the Colonials really have found Earth.
But there isn't any reason to believe that the humans of the 13th tribe came to Earth in possession of the same technology the Colonials have. Remember it's been many a very long time since humans fled Kobol, some going to the colonies and some to Earth. The 13th tribe could have abandoned whatever brought them to Earth, or they could have lost their technology somehow, forcing them to start a completely new civilization on Earth.
Whatever the case, I think the destroyed city at the end 4.10 Revelations is the fabled city of Atlantis. The show takes a lot from ancient Greek mythology: the names of the colonial gods, many of their customs, and even the early representation of democracy. The Greeks were among the first ancient cultures to proliferate the legend of Atlantis, a story about a city the sunk into the sea. Well, at the end of Revelations we see much of the destroyed city in the water. And look at the architecture, it's made of stone and iron, with lots of arches and domed structures. Not something we see a lot of in modern construction.
All this leads me to believe the city we are shown isn't the result of nuclear holocaust. It's Atlantis, the city of the 13th tribe, and for some reason it was lost to a catastrophic event. I'd even go so far as to say the show will have the newly arrived colonials settling on Earth and starting Greek civilization as we know it. Maybe that's a stretch, we'll see.
You guys are so stupid... It is earth the star constilations are matching to the ones that you would see on earth. Also It would have to be the future since they had to be able to have "space ships" to colonize other planets. Also yoou guys coudln't tell that the bridge was the golden gate beidge in ruins?
Wow also as somone else has mentioned the 5th cylon may be helo, since he wasnt with the fleet in the first season and having the producers say that the 5th cyclon is somone we have seen but "wasnt" in the fleet. But he is now. Also Diana doesn't know who he is untill season three, because he never met her untill then. Also people saying she traveled back in time some how makes sense in a way i guess.
IDIOTS!!!
When they were on kolbol they found the tomb of athena and saw EARTH it was a freaking recording they weren't magiucally teleported there. But you got good imaginations.
So Earth to them is the present which would be the future for us and obviously they went through some kind of war do to the radiation.
I agree with dan and Jonathan and Tony since they all think it is a modern day city new york and many have mentioned that only that isnt the only plave in the world that is thee or here. I read somthing that said it isn't earth since the continents dont match the ones we have to day.
I got 2 words for you pal: (Continental Drift) Of coarse they wouldn't look the same Earth's plates are constantly moving even if it is at a slow pace. So continents may be together or broken into more continents
