Is anyone else as hooked on Breaking Bad as I am? The new AMC series centers on a high school chemistry teacher who finds out he’s dying of cancer and decides to earn some money for his family by cooking crystal meth. Things end up not going according to plan though. We’ve got a clip from this Sunday’s episode.

In case you’re behind on the series, here’s a brief recap. Walter White is in a desperate situation. He’s dying of cancer and with a son with special needs and a pregnant wife to leave behind; he realizes that his teaching job isn’t going to cut it in terms of money. He eventually gets fed up with his second job and decides that the best way to make some quick cash is to cook crystal meth. He partners up with a former student, Jesse. Jesse’s a burnout drug dealer who’s in need of a new partner since his old one got busted.

Walter and Jesse cook up a nearly perfect batch of meth but they end up getting into some trouble with two of Jesse’s “business associates.” Without getting into the details, Walter ends up killing both of them (he wasn’t happy about doing it). Between that whole mess and the fact that he has a DEA brother-in-law and his wife has no idea what he’s been up to, he decides to walk away from the whole thing. Now his wife knows he has cancer and is encouraging him to see better doctors and see if he can get well.

In this Sunday’s episode, an old scientist colleague offers Walter a job and Jesse tries to enter the workforce (the legal kind) and at some point, goes back to cooking meth but without Walter’s chemistry skills, this batch isn’t nearly as good as the last one. So how long before Walter goes back to work in the RV-meth-lab?

Here’s a sneak peak at this Sunday’s episode, titled Gray Matter:
