Video Clip From Battlestar Galactica - Guess What's Coming To Dinner

Last week’s episode of Battlestar Galactica felt like just the boost the show needed to really get the season going. Roslin seems to be reconsidering her views on Baltar’s religion and Kara came off as a little less crazy. And when the episode ended, the Demetrius crew was set to rendezvous with Galactica. We’ve got a video from this week’s episode of BSG titled “Guess What’s Coming To Dinner.” Spoiler Warning: If you don’t want to know anything about the episode, read no further!

Maybe my mind was too busy mulling over everything that happened in last week’s BSG episode, “Faith” but after seeing the episode end with Demetrius and the rebel Cylons preparing to meet up with the human fleet, it never occurred to me how the crew on Galactica would react at the sight of a Cylon basestar jumping into orbit. Check out this video clip from this week’s episode:

Yeah obviously the sight of a Cylon ship is going to cause Galactica to round up the fleet and jump the hell out of dodge. I guess we all just assumed that the Demetrius crew would be able to communicate with Galactica and let them know everything is ok but apparently their communication system is down. The whole thing reminds me of that episode in the first season when Starbuck rescued herself with a Cylon raider. Though something tells me the words “Star” and “Buck” wont be painted onto the bottom of that Cylon Basestar. Fortunately, Tigh apparently senses something’s not right. Is this just decades worth of military experience working in his favor here or does is his Cylon-mind have something to do with this? Could he sense Anders on that ship or perhaps he senses the lack of a threat? What do you guys think?

Battlestar Galactica airs Friday nights at 10:00 p.m. on the SciFi Channel.
