Video: Conan O'Brien Announces The Title Of His New TBS Show

If you've been staying up nights wondering what kind of crazy name Conan O'Brien might give to his new show on TBS, sorry to disappoint you: the name is out there, and it's even more ordinary than The Tonight Show. In a video that premiered at Vulture, Conan himself (and his beard) announced that the new show, debuting November 8, will be called… Conan.

Apparently a name so simple still had to go through weeks of legal hoop-jumping, and it's possible they got some trouble from the people who own the rights to Conan the Barbarian (especially since they've got another movie about the guy in the loincloth coming soon). While it would have been fun to call the show Team Coco or something else silly, Conan is a pretty logical choice, even if it sounds a little more like a sitcom than a nightly show.
