Video: HBO Says Goodbye To 2011 As It Prepares For 2012

Entertainment sites are busy putting out end of the year lists - speaking of, TV Blend has its own “Best Moments,” “Best Deaths,” and “Best Shows.” We’re not the only ones wanting to recap the year in entertainment. As it turns out, HBO is also excited about its own “Yearender 2011” recap video, featuring moments from many of the network’s original programming, including Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, Enlightened, Game of Thrones and others, as well as some specials HBO put on throughout the year.

The video clip also manages to look to the future, mentioning many upcoming programs, including the long awaited Luck with Dustin Hoffman, which previewed last month. The video also officially labels Aaron Sorkin’s new drama for HBO The Newsroom. While we’ve been tentatively calling the project “Newsroom” for the past few weeks, having a concrete title really cements the fact we are getting ever closer to some new HBO.
