Last night's episode of The Walking Dead had the characters regrouping after the Governor's attack on the prison. The previews for for next Sunday night's "Clear" indicate that a few characters will be split up from the group and on their own dangerous adventure. Check out two clips and the episode promo ahead.
If you caught last night's episode, "I Ain't A Judas," (And if you haven't, stop reading now!) you know that Rick was planning on going on a run, and he was taking Michonne and Carl with him. All of the footage below focuses on that. First up is the promo for the episode, which hints at danger and a possible newcomer to the equation.
The above promo showed a glimpse of a hitchhiker. The clip below gives us a better look at that scene.
Seems kind of heartless, just leaving the guy there. But then you consider the problems that mystery man could cause and it's not especially difficult to understand how Rick and Michonne might prefer to ignore him and keep going on their way.
And in this one, they have some car trouble.
Neither seem particularly panicked that they're under attack by walkers. Of course, getting the car out of that mud might be a bigger challenge than couple of zombies.
I'm wondering if car trouble is what sends to that little town. Is that the hitchhiker up on the roof in the promo? Wouldn't that be an awkward run-in, assuming that happens after they flew by him on the road.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on AMC. Read our breakdown of last night's episode, "I Ain't A Judas" here.
