Watch John Stamos Sing A Little Mermaid Song On James Corden

The Late Late Show has turned into a musical adventure thanks to host James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” segment, but a recent episode proved that his guests don’t necessarily need a trip in a vehicle to bust out into song. Fuller House's John Stamos and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Tituss Burgess appeared on The Late Late Show recently and the conversation turned to singing and Disney songs. Check out John Stamos in his rendition of “Kiss The Girl” from The Little Mermaid with James Corden and Tituss Burgess!

Who knew that a little John Stamos was all it took to make Little Mermaid even better? The clip allowed Stamos – however briefly – to show off his range as a singer. He was just lucky that his fellow guest was also musically gifted. Tituss Burgess was ready to go with “Kiss The Girl” thanks to his role as Sebastian in the Broadway production of The Little Mermaid. The duo made for an unexpected pair of crooners, and the impromptu performance is definitely worth a rewatch or two.

His appearance on The Late Late Show isn’t the first occasion that John Stamos has brought his musical stylings to the small screen. He had the role of Carl the dreamy singing dentist on Glee, and he was one of the more hilarious celebrities to guest star on ABC’s musical extravaganza Galavant.

John Stamos also recently reprised the Full House role that made him famous for the Netflix continuation Fuller House. Uncle Jesse may not have spent hours of screentime singing in Full House or Fuller House, but his musical dreams always played a big part in his plots. (Who can forget "Forever" and "Michelle's Smiling"?) It’s only fitting that Stamos bust into song on late night television so shortly after bringing Uncle Jesse back into the lives of Full House fans everywhere.

Stamos' current starring gig on Grandfathered isn’t quite so musical, so we probably won’t be seeing too much of the actor in song on the Fox comedy. In a perfect world, Stamos would appear as himself on a third season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to team up with Tituss Burgess for another ditty. The odds for Stamos on the quirky Netflix comedy aren’t great, but given that we’re in for a long wait before Season 3 makes it onto the streaming service, we can dream colorful dreams of a John Stamos/Titus Andronicus duet.

Fuller House was renewed for a second season almost immediately after the first premiered, so we can at least count on more of John Stamos as Uncle Jesse on Netflix. He has high hopes for a long future for the show, and there's still time for Uncle Jesse to channel his inner John Stamos with some Little Mermaid songs for the children. Until then, we can at least rewatch the Late Late Show clip to our hearts’ delight, counting the days until Stamos' next appearance.
