Glee has had a lot of star-powered guest roles over its first three seasons. Notably, Gwyneth Paltrow, John Stamos and Neil Patrick Harris have all brought a spin to an average day at William McKinley High School. With college on the horizon for many members of the main cast, the recruitment process seems like a great landscape to bring in guest stars, and creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk plan to do just that. Click away if you want the next few weeks of Glee to be filled with surprises. The next paragraph contains some SPOILERS.
Actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg will hop from ABC, where she is a co-host on The View, to Fox, where she will be involved in a multi-episode story arc on the network's hit show, Glee. The 56-year-old is set to play Carmen Tibideaux, a professor at the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts – a school both Rachel and Kurt applied to. TV Line first broke the news, also noting Ms. Tibideaux will actually travel all the way to Ohio to watch the two students audition for a position at the NYADA and will be the deciding factor on who stays and who goes. Goldberg’s first appearance will be on May 1. As if the next few months of Glee weren’t exciting enough, we now have a guest star that could seriously change Kurt and Rachel’s futures. There’s so much going on with Glee right now I might legitimately have a heart attack before the season 3 finale on May 22. For the sake of my health, Fox, could you please just officially renew my favorite musical for Season 4? Back to top
