Arrested Development Will Begin Making New Episodes In 4 Weeks

I’m an optimist, like a crazy my car just got totaled but at least I’m okay optimism. I’m always willing to hold out hope and bet on my own luck, but honestly, at some point, I gave up on Arrested Development. I’m not proud of turning my back on Gob and Maeby and Carl Weathers, but I had to do it for my own mental health as rumor after rumor about a potential movie went nowhere. Even after the TV series was announced, I withheld excitement. Now, I’m finally ready to jump back on the boat, even if the Hot Cops show up.

Last night, Jason Bateman, Michael Bluth himself, let fans know via his Twitter that new episodes will begin filming in four weeks. He also included a picture of himself with Ron Howard and Mitchell Hurwitz. You can take a look at the snapshot below…



Not to be outdone, Howard also got into the euphoric Twitter fray, tweeting his own picture of hundreds of post-it notes all assembled and ordered on a wall in the writer’s room. You can take a look at that one below too…



I don’t have Netflix. Frankly, I never thought I’d order Netflix specifically to watch one series, but I can’t imagine not seeing all the wacky shit the Bluth family is about to get up to. New episodes are scheduled to premiere sometime next year, and if they’re even half as good as the greatness we got during the initial run through, it’ll be worth every single dime.
