Beyonce And Brad Paisley To Perform At Macy's 4th July Fireworks Spectacular On NBC

The 4th of July isn’t that far off and NBC is prepared for the occasion. The network announced today that they’ll be celebrating the nation’s 235th birthday with the annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, which will be hosted by Nick Lachey. They’ve also got some big talent set to perform.

I’m thinking the 4th of July is more of an outside-holiday for most people, but if you are planning on celebrating America’s birthday by camping out in front of the television, perhaps enjoying a cold beverage and something barbecued, The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular would be the show to watch. The event’s theme is “Gift of Freedom,” and will pay tribute to the 125th Anniversary year of the Statue of Liberty.

NBC has The Sing-Off host Nick Lachey locked in to host. In addition to what will hopefully be an impressive display of colorful fireworks lighting up the New York City skyline and the Hudson River, Beyonce and Brad Paisley have signed on to provide a bit of musical entertainment.

The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular airs Monday, July 4th 9-10 p.m. ET, 8-9 p.m. CT.
