Finally, some updates! After the Big Brother live feeds were off for more than a day, last night on CBS, we got to see the taped episode showing the eviction of another houseguest The feeds returned just in time for Big Brother After Dark later that night on Showtime, and we now know who won the Veto! There are also some interesting updates on what might happen during tonight's eviction episode. Spoilers ahead!

The following text contains spoilers from the live feeds that have not been revealed yet in the Big Brother episodes, so read on at your own risk!

Last night, we saw Jenn evicted and Danielle win the Final Four Head of Household. At this stage in the game, HoH is really only immunity and a spot in the Final 3. Whoever wins the Veto has the power to serve as the lone vote to evict one of the nominees and bring the remaining nominee with them to the Final 3… if they aren't already the Head of Household. If the HoH wins the Veto, the power works a bit differently, as they still can't vote, but they decide who does. About an hour after the feeds came back, it was revealed that Danielle also won the Veto. So not only did she make the nominations, but she now has the power to change them and decide which of the three guys (Ian, Dan or Shane) would be safe from eviction and casting the sole vote to evict tonight.

From what's been said, Dan and Ian are on the block and Shane is currently safe. But the Veto hasn't been used yet. That won't happen until tonight during the live eviction.

Here's where it gets interesting. From the outside perspective, I think Danielle would be smart to leave the nominations as-is, because Shane and Dan would probably both take her to the Final 2, whereas Ian is more of a wildcard from Danielle's perspective (and from ours, seems much more loyal to Dan via their Renegades 2.0 alliance). Danielle, Dan and Shane re-affirmed their Final 3 deal last night when Ian was in the diary room, and from what Shane and Danielle were discussing, she's thinking about pulling Dan off the block and putting Shane up. I think the logic behind this has to do with letting Dan be the one to evict Ian (getting the blood on his hands).

I don't entirely see why that's so necessary though. I can't see Ian holding a major grudge against Shane for evicting him, especially if he does it nicely (mentioning his competition record and being impossible to beat). The Quack Pack made it to the end - one of them has to go. It's just math and I don't think Ian has any misconceptions about Shane's loyalties. It seems like foolishness on Shane's part to put his safety in Dan's hands, considering Dan's unpredictable track-record. But then again - as nice a guy as Shane seems to be, and as well as he's done on the more physical competitions, I haven't seen any amazing strategic demonstrations from him over the course of this game.

While Shane and Danielle were upstairs in the HoH room in bed together - there was at least one massage involved and at one point, Danielle sat there picking at Shane's back-skin (yes, I sat through this to listen in on strategy talk - you're welcome readers!), Ian and Dan were downstairs discussing options. At first, Ian was talking like he was pretty sure he was leaving. He sounded somewhat resigned to his fate and not especially bitter. But Dan hinted that there may be a way for Ian to stay. He was cautious about how he spoke, and with Dan, it's hard to know what he's really thinking, but he may be plotting to give Shane the boot - if he can get Danielle to use the Veto to switch the nominations. I'm thinking that, from Dan's perspective, a Dan/Ian/Danielle Final 3 gives him a much better shot at the Final 3 than Shane/Daneille/Dan.

Here's the thing. The feeds have been off for more than a day and I didn't see Dan and Danielle talking in private together since they came back, so I'm not sure if Dan and Danielle have discussed this at all. If Dan is considering evicting Shane, I'm not sure if he's thinking of doing it with Danielle's permission/knowledge, or as a secret surprise. Like I said, it seems obvious to me that Danielle stands to benefit from a Dan/Shane/Danielle Final 3. It's probably her best bet to get to the Final 2, and I have to believe she knows that. But it's very possible Dan has misted her into thinking they stand a better chance of beating Ian in the Final HoH, and if she switches the noms and lies to Shane about it (playing dumb about Dan's secret plans like she did with Britney), Dan can get Shane out without Danielle having to get the blood on her hands. We know she's been stressing about having to choose between them both. This would eliminate that awkward moment.

But that's assuming she's in on it. It's also possible Dan's lying to Danielle, assuring her that the D/D/S Final 3 is on, and planning to evict Shane anyway. Or maybe in the end, Ian will go (or maybe the noms won't change and Shane will decide to send Dan out - doesn't seem hugely likely, but the possibility is there). We can't know for sure. But no matter what, tonight's episode should be very interesting! Dan told Ian last night to let him work on things today, so it sounds like there will be some more developments. If there are any major updates, we'll add them. In the meantime, tune in tonight to see the eviction and the reveal of the Final 3! Also, from the CBS promo for tonight's episode, it looks like we'll finally get to see the jury house!

Update: 5:13 p.m. EST - Feeds have been really boring so far this morning/afternoon. There was an HoH lockdown (houseguests locked in the HoH room) for a while and everyone laid around napping. They're up and wandering around now. Dan and Shane just spoke briefly to sort of reconfirm that no matter what happens they're safe with each other. From the way Shane was talking, he was acting like he didn't really know for sure what was going to happen with the Veto (which might be true - Danielle might not have decided yet, or given him a definitive answer).

Also, just before Dan spoke to Shane, Dan was in HoH room with Danielle and both were sort of just waking up (he was on the couch - she was in her bed). He asked her how she was doing and if she had her speech ready. She made a hand gesture like "kind of/so-so" but didn't say anything. Then he said, "Is Shane going to act surprised?" She nodded. She looked like she was just waking up though. Dan didn't press the matter. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to talk to her about it again later, especially after his brief conversation with Shane.

5:50 p.m. - Ok, another good update! Dan got Danielle by herself to ask her about her speech. It sounds like she's going to take Dan off the block and do a quick "It's not personal, it's strategic speech" and then put Shane up against Ian. Danielle asked Dan to confirm to her that he is definitely going to send Ian out - so if Dan evicts Shane, it sounds like it will be a big surprise to Danielle. (He assured her Ian was going) Again, no confirmation that Dan is going to evict Shane and the plan between Dan, Shane and Danielle is that Dan will evict Ian. But, if he has another conversation with Ian, we'll have a better idea of what he's thinking, I think. But by the way Danielle asked Dan if he was ok with this plan, it seems like Dan's "volunteering" to do this and be the one to evict Ian. Whether or not he actually does it - we'll have to wait and see.
