Breaking Bad Season 5 Photo Gives Us Another Look At Jesse And Walt Together

We've crossed the one-month mark in our countdown to the return of AMC's excellent drama series Breaking Bad. As we continue to inch closer to the Season 5 premiere, more glimpses and promotional material for the series continues to make its way online. Today, that comes in the form of some new art for the fifth season.

I doubt I'm alone in being hopeful that Season 5 will see Jesse and Walter partnered up again. The distance between them seems to have grown more and more over the past few seasons, but with Gus out of the picture, and Walt's "Lily of the Valley" poison tactic, perhaps Jesse will be back at Walt's side come Season 5. We saw the two characters together in this recently released episode photo from the Season 5 premiere, and as it happens, the two are paired up in this new bit of art, which TV Line posted today.



Of course, it may be reading too much into this to assume that just because Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are featured in a promotional photo that it means we're going to see more of Walt and Jesse on screen together. After all, they're both stars of the series. With that said, with the primary focus being on Walt in the poster for Season 5, it is reassuring to see Jesse featured in the newest photo released.

As for the photo itself, Walt seems less intimidating in this picture than he does in the poster. Maybe it's the clothes he has on or the expression on his face, which seems more desperate than it does intimidating, but I'm getting much more of a chemistry-teacher vibe off him here than I am a meth-making kingpin. Maybe that's the point, though?

Breaking Bad returns for Season 5 on July 15 on AMC.
