CBS renewed more than a dozen TV series, which join the previously renewed The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. Not all of the network’s shows made the list, but it looks like most of the network’s Monday night comedy line-up will be left intact.
CBS made the announcement today that they’ve renewed a number of series, including NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Good Wife, Mike & Molly, and of course, 2 Broke Girls. No surprise there, given the new comedy series’ strong ratings. Here’s the full list of comedies, dramas and unscripted series set to return next season... Renewed: NCIS NCIS: Los Angeles Hawaii Five-0 Criminal Minds CSI Person of Interest The Mentalist Blue Bloods The Good Wife The Amazing Race Undercover Boss Survivor 2 Broke Girls Mike & Molly The Big Bang Theory How I Met Your Mother 60 Minutes 48 Hours Mystery According to TV Guide, talks are in the works between CBS and Warner Bros. on the fate of Two and a Half Men. And absent from the list are CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, Unforgettable, A Gifted Man, Rob, Rules of Engagement and NYC 22, which doesn’t premiere until next month. I suppose it’s possible some of those shows could receive late pick-ups. CBS may be waiting to see how things look on the pilot front before they make final decisions on the remaining comedies and dramas. Back to top
