CBS To Introduce More Gay Characters

CBS had their annual press tour today and among the topics of discussion was the network’s plan to integrate more gay characters on its programs.

According to Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello CBS president Nina Tassler Expressed disappointment in the failing grade they received from GLAAD due to their poor track record for integrating gay characters on its shows. So viewers of The Good Wife, Bleep My Dad Says and Rules of Engagement can expect to see a homosexual character introduced on each of those shows.

It’s good to see CBS catching up with the times, however I’m curious to see if they’re going to make a show of the introduced characters’ homosexuality or if they will simply be revealed to be gay over the course of getting to know them on their respective series.
