Childrens Hospital's Ken Marino To Guest Star On Happy Endings

ABC’s Happy Endings seems to be getting funnier each week. The series continues to show potential to be one of network TV’s funniest TV shows. Hopefully ABC agrees and gives the show a full-season order. (The latest update is that ABC ordered more scripts for the show, but no official word on whether it’ll make it through its second season). In the meantime, the series does have another excellent guest-star on deck.

According to TV Line, Ken Marino is set to play a guest-role on Happy Endings. He’s set to play Dave’s therapist, and it may turn out to be a recurring role. Marino’s character will interact with the other characters as well, “particularly Casey Wilson’s Penny.” I can definitely those two hitting it off (or not hitting it off) beautifully.

Ken Marino’s no stranger to playing a doctor, as he stars in Adult Swim’s Children’s Hospital. You may also remember him from Party Down, Reaper, and of course, as the shady private detective Vinnie Van Lowe in Veronica Mars.

News of Marino’s guest-spot follows last month’s news that Fred Savage would be guesting in an episode, as well as directing one.
