Comic Con 2011: William Shatner And Others Confirmed To Guest Star On Psych

I’m sitting here in Ballroom 20 at Comic Con as the cast and producers of Psych discuss the show. We’ve been treated to a live performance of the theme song, and a lot of love about guest stars coming up on the show. The panel began with a video of Shawn and Gus discussing how they could top last year’s appearance, and their solution was the great William Shatner.

A slew of guest stars have been confirmed, some shown in a brief clips already, to appear on the upcoming season of Psych set to premiere in October. Most exciting for me are William Shatner, Tom Lenk (Andrew from Buffy), Kristy Swanson (the original Buffy), and Tony Hale. But the list doesn’t stop there.

Keenan Thompson, Jaleel White (yes, the return of Urkel), Malcolm McDowell, and Cary Elwes are all on their way to the show. Most of the time guest stars are few and far between, but this upcoming season has got to be the most guesttastic on television.

Now that we've seen Shatner with Shawn and Gus, I can't wait to see more. They are absolutely hilarious together.
