Community Spoilers: Troy And Abed Revisit A Soft Architectural Endeavor

“Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design” is one of, if not the best episode of Community’s second season, not only because it includes some of Jim Rash’s best comedic contributions to the series, but also because Abed and Troy build a blanket fort that quickly becomes a massive structure, due to the rest of the campus’ eagerness to join in on their fun. Word is, the fort is coming back, bigger and better (and possibly more catastrophic) than ever. More detailed spoilers ahead!

TV Line got the goods on the story, which is likely to cheer up those of us who are sad to see the NBC comedy head off to a prolonged hiatus all too soon. At some point when the series returns next spring, Abed and Troy will attempt to revisit their blanket fort project. While it was the rapid growth and resulting mainstream-ness of the fort that caused them to push the self destruct button (or pull the cord, technically) last time, this time they’re actually aiming for bigger. TV Line says the duo are hoping to set a record with their new fort. Of course, once again, things don’t go as planned and a campus civil war breaks out. TV Line says this is a two-episode story, with the “full-on war” set for the second half. I really hope everyone’s in pajamas during the fight.

John Goodman will also be making another appearance at some point during all of this, and he’ll once again be trying to get Troy to accept his calling as an air conditioning savant.
